BitWorks Music is a full-service multimedia distribution label. We provide online media distribution services directly from artists downloaded to their audience. Our purpose is to give complete artistic control to the artists, something that has strangely become a rarity in the music industry.

We offer complete media post-production services to artists, including top quality audio and video compression for internet distribution, scanning and dynamic layout of album artwork in web-presentable format.

BitWorks is a music label. I spend a lot of time listening to music that's a little different from what you might normally hear on radio, or anywhere else. You will find an odd assortment here.

Quality, Simplicity, Community.

We encode audio in near lossless MP3 format (variable bitrate), generally around 260 kilobits per second (Kbps) depending on the content. We also offer lossless FLAC encoding, which allows the listener to convert to the original WAV format on CD.

Our interface is simple to use. There is no software to install and there is no DRM (digital rights management) to restrict personal use. We use PayPal for payment processing and accept all major credit cards.

BitWorks brings together artists, listeners, and other denizens of the internet in the BitWorks blog. Artists are free to promote and discuss their work anytime in the comments section. We will eventually be expanding our blog to include more BitWorks artists.

Our founding principle is that we do what is best for the music always.
